Galentine’s at The Aesthetics Lab

We host evenings like this every couple of months and they’re a really nice way to experience the clinic in a slightly different setting.

It’s a chance to come in, have a skincare facial, and talk things through properly. That might be understanding more about the treatments on offer, how they could support your skin, or just getting clearer on what’s right for you. The Galentine’s evening back in February was exactly that. A small group, a facial each, a glass of something fizzy and a bit of time to yourself, something we don’t always get enough.

Time to talk things through

What I liked most about the evening was having that bit of extra time to talk.

Some people came with specific concerns, others just wanted a bit of guidance on skincare or to understand what they’d been seeing online. It gave us the space to go through things properly and work out what was actually appropriate for them. Everything is still approached in the same way as it would be in a consultation, with individual assessment and recommendations where needed, it just feels a bit more relaxed, and without any obligation to book in for anything further.

Treatments and recommendations

Each guest had a facial on the evening, which is often a good starting point. It allows me to assess the skin properly while also giving something that feels like a treatment rather than just a conversation. From there, it might be simple skincare advice, or a discussion around treatments that could support things longer term. For some, that’s all they needed, just a bit of clarity.

A few small touches

We also put together a small goody bag for everyone to take away, just a few things that felt useful and a nice addition to the evening – and because who doesn’t love a goody bag?

The aim isn’t to make it feel like an “event”, more just a comfortable space where people can come in, feel at ease and take a bit of time for themselves

Looking ahead

It’s something I’ll definitely continue to do throughout the year. It gives people a different way to come into the clinic, especially if they’re new or just want to understand things a bit more before committing to anything. I’ll share details of future evenings on The Aesthetics Lab Facebook and Instagram pages.

All treatments are discussed and recommended following a full medical consultation.
